History almost repeated itself in the opening day of the World Rugby U20s championship on Tuesday.
Japan U20s almost took a leaf out of their senior counterparts by beating South Africa to shock the world. The Baby Blossoms were 19-7 ahead in the first half at once stage.
They lead 19-14 at half-time, before a thundering blitz from the South Africans saw them win out comfortably in the end, but Japan were hugely impressive and walked away with their heads held high.
The man everyone is talking about however is their senior-capped wing Ataata Moeakiola, who bagged a monstrous hat-trick. Moeakiola has already been compared to All Black legend Jonah Lomu. Watch the video below to see why.
