The 2019 Guinness Six Nations Championship is less than three weeks away and we for one – simply cannot wait for it to start.

Ireland head into the tournament as favourites having destroyed everyone on their path last year on the way to an historic Grand Slam, picking up bonus-points wins against Italy, Wales and Scotland and home, as well as defeating France and England on the road.

Joe Schmidt’s men will start their defence with a tough opening match against old rivals England at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Wales will also be looking to kick on from their first ever November clean sweep and improve on their second place finish last year.

England meanwhile got themselves back on track over the autumn after a disappointing showing last time out, while Scotland also looked impressive. Italy and France also continue to improve under Conor O’Shea and Jacques Brunel despite the latter suffering a shock defeat to France in the autumn.
