Former Leinster, Leicester and Ireland flanker, Shane Jennings hung up his boots at the end of the the 2014/15 season.
Since then the backrow has been trying to make his way in a world away from rugby and has opened up about the struggles of retirement for ex-pros.
In the’Tackle Your Feelings’ video below, released by the Irish Rugby Union Players Association, Jennings opens up about the difficulty in transitioning.
“When I faced retirement from professional rugby I felt a lot of apprehension and uncertainty,” he admits.
The video follows on from the campaign’s launch, last season, that featured Jack McGrath and Ireland Women’s star Hannah Tyrell.
