Leicester Tigers centre Manu Tuilagi looks set to make his long-awaited return for England this weekend after being named on the bench for their clash with the Springboks on Saturday.
Tuilagi has had a horrific time with injury over the last few years, and last played for England against Wales in the 2016 Six Nations.
But his form for Leicester this season has given us a glimpse of the Tuilagi of old, with many hoping they could potentially see the version of him that almost single-handedly defeated the All Blacks back in 2012.
Tuilagi has always been known for his freakish power, and it’s no surprise he’s a bit of a monster when it comes to his weight sessions with England. Speaking ahead of this weekend’s game, Tuilagi explained his typical gym-routing which includes “just 130-140kg” benchpress sets and three sets of 170kg squatting.
