Move bi*ch.
Ireland got their season off to the perfect start on Saturday evening with a complete demolition of the Springboks at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Tries from Andrew Conway, Rhys Ruddock, Rob Herring and youngster Jacob Stockdale secured a 38-3 win for Joe Schmidt’s men, a record against the South Africa. There were some big performances on the day with CJ Stander, Conway and debutant Bundee Aki all impressing, along with man of the match Johnny Sexton.
Another man who has due a big game and delivered was Iain Henderson. The Ulster lock looks set to take on a more senior role in the side after his experience with the Lions over the summer and in the absence of Donnacha Ryan, and it looks like he’s already relishing the opportunity.
20 minutes into the game, he showed why Ulster often stick a six on his back, as he blasted through the monster that is Eben Etzebeth, sitting down the Springbok’s biggest man. Have another watch below to remind yourself.
