Ouch.
There were some worrying scenes in Thomond Park last night as Munster winger Andrew Conway appeared to be knocked out cold after a clash with Leicester fullback Telusa Veainu.
Conway lay prone on the ground for a number of minutes, but thankfully was able to walk off the pitch. Spare a thought however, for Veainu, as he ended up with a broken jaw, such was the force of impact between the two.
After a slight wince, Veainu incredibly went to play on as if nothing happened, showing he’s one tough nut.
Have a watch below.
Leicester boss Matt O’Connor confirmed after tonight’s game that Telusa Veainu suffered a broken jaw from this clash with Andrew Conway. Nasty stuff indeed for both men. pic.twitter.com/8JwAJn5lTo
