Leinster reaffirmed their title as one of the leading contenders to lift the 2018 Champions Cup with a massive 22-17 win over Exeter at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin this evening.
It was the English champions that raced into a two-try lead, and with Leinster losing Johnny Sexton after two minutes, and suffering two yellow cards, at half-time it looked like the Chiefs were in control.
Some inspired substitutions however, with Dan Leavy in particular impressing, along with a man of the match performance from Isa Nacewa, ensured Leinster stat top of their pool with four wins from four.
Interestingly, the last time Leinster won their first four games in the pool stages of Europe, was also the last time they won what was then the Heineken Cup back in 2012.
