Beautiful tribute.
Ireland are currently taking on the All Blacks in a mouth-watering clash at Soldier Field, leading 18-8 at the time of writing. Joe Schmidt’s men have started excellently, grabbing two excellent tries, the second coming from a wonderful break by fullback Rob Kearney.
Today’s match marks the first time Ireland have played a test game since the tragic passing of Anthony Foley. The former Munster and Ireland number eight tragically past away a few weeks back in Paris as he prepared the southern province for their opening round Champions Cup clash.
In light of this, you may have noticed the Irish team, as a mark of respect to the late legend, lined out in a figure of eight as the faced the world famous haka by the All Blacks. A truly wonderful tribute to a fallen hero.
