Watch: “Im A Referee, Not A Coach” – England Baffled By Italy’s Ruck Tactics

A masterclass from Conor O’Shea.

Italy currently lead England by 10-5 in a bizarre affair at Twickenham.

The Azzuri scored a lucky try on the stroke of half-time thanks to the goalposts, shocking Eddie Jones’ men.

What has everyone talking however is O’Shea’s tactic to not commit bodies to the ruck, confusing the England players, who don’t seem to know what’s going on.

Haskell and captain Hartley asked referee Roman Poite to explain, and were give a brilliant response from the Frenchman- “I’m a referee not a coach.”

*Update – 2 tries for England. It’s now 17-10
