You sneaky bas*ard.
Scotland did themselves proud this past weekend with a sterling effort against world champions the All Blacks at Murrayfield.
In the end it wasn’t to be as New Zealand edged the game 22-17, but things could have been very different, had All Blacks captain Kieran Read gone to this bin for this blatant act of foul play.
Scotland’s constant pressure in the second-half resulted in Sam Cane and Wyatt Crockett spending time in the bin. Crockett was pinged for going off his feet, but should have been joined in the bin by Read as he deliberately slapped the ball of of Jonny Gray’s hands during the next phase.
Time and time again we’ve seen the All Blacks result to this kind of play if they see a game slipping away from them. No doubt a lot of people have lost respect for read after this.
