Ospreys and Wales hooker Scott Baldwin was forced to miss his side’s clash with the Cheetahs in South Africa today, because well he got bit by a Lion!

Yep, you read that correctly. The front-row decided it would be a good idea to try and pet a caged Lion while out with his Ospreys teammates on safari ahead of their PRO14 clash.

As his coach Steve Tandy said:

“I don’t know what wildlife programmes he’s been watching where you can pat a Lion on the head as if it were a kitten.”

Hell of a story to tell though.
