Death Zone.
Legendary former Ireland, Lions and Leinster centre Brian O’Driscoll made a return to rugby recently after retiring from the game three and and a half years ago.
Since his retirement O’Driscoll has worked as a pundit, while also working closely with the HSBC Sevens circuit as an ambassador, who managed to convince him to lace up his boots again for a brutal training session with the England Sevens national side.
The session is called ‘Death Zone’, which is a reference to the peak of Mount Everest where there isn’t enough oxygen for people to survive. It;s designed to push teams to the very limit and get them match fit so they can survive the rapid pace of international sevens rugby.
Have a watch below.
