Premiership giants Wasps are reportedly eyeing up former All Blacks outhalf Luke McAlister, according to a report in The Rugby Paper this morning.
The 34-year-old Toulon playmaker is set to become available in the summer, and has previous Aviva Premiership experience with Sale Sharks. McAlister moved to Toulon over the summer after a number of years with Toulouse.
Another Toulon playmaker, Frenchman Jonathan Wisniewski, is also a potential option for Wasps according to the report, as Dai Young looks to bolster his options at ten after a number of injuries this season.
Young has been without first choice ten Danny Cipriani for a number of months, while Jimmy Gopperth is primarily seen as an inside centre by last year’s Premiership finalists.
