New ground.
Wales will open their 2018 Autumn International Series with a shock fixture against Six Nations rivals Scotland according to a report by WalesOnline this lunchtime.
Scotland will become the first top-tier northern hemisphere visitors to feature in the Tests since a four-match end-of-year campaign was introduced 17 years ago.
The two home nations will battle it out for the Doddie Weir Cup at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on November 3.
The November window is traditionally reserved for Southern Hemisphere teams, with the Welsh Rugby Union breaking new ground by taking on the Scots. It will be only the second meeting between the countries outside the Five or Six Nations in the 135-year history of the fixture.
