Nick Williams has confirmed he has played his last game for the province.
The Kiwi is set to join Cardiff Blues next season and has today confirmed that he has failed in his bid to return from a shoulder injury and will now miss the rest of Ulster’s season.
Williams arrived to Ireland from New Zealand back in 2008 and spent two seasons with Munster. After a further two seasons with Italian side Aironi, Williams returned to Ireland in 2012, signing for Ulster.
It is with Ulster he played some of his best rugby, gaining a reputation as an absolute powerhouse. It’s an unfortunate end to his Ulster career, but the northern province’s loss is Cardiff’s gain.
