Ulster are set to announce the signing of South African back row Ryan Kankowski.
Nick Williams will be leaving the Northern Province at the end of the season to join the Cardiff Blues and Ulster have moved quick to snap up a replacement.. Kankowski may not be as high a profile signing as the reportedly targeted Victor Vito who revealed yesterday he will joining French side La Rochelle.
Kankowski can play as a flanker or at number eight and joins from the Natal Sharks having also played for Toyota Industries Shuttles in Japanese Rugby. The 30 year old has 20 caps for the Springboks with the last of those coming in 2012.
Ulster are set to name yet another exciting signing in the coming weeks.
