Ulster Rugby and Kukri have today unveiled a brand new European kit for the 2018/19 season – and it’s pretty tasty.

The striking all red kit will be worn for the for the first time during their opening Champions Cup match against Leicester Tigers at Kingspan Stadium on Saturday 13th October.

It’s  a tighter fit than usual, with new fabric designed to sit closer to the body. In keeping with Ulster’s tradition of minimalist designs, the shirt is modern and fresh, using red as a base colour with hints of black and tonal red to keep the design subtle.

“The new sleek design and technological advances in fabrics make for a contemporary, striking shirt and we can’t wait to reveal it to the Ulster fans. “We launched a bespoke European jersey for the first time in 2016, with great success, and once again the team will play its Heineken Champions Cup fixtures in this European jersey. Feedback from the players has been excellent and they are excited to have a dedicated jersey that pays homage to that special atmosphere that Champions Cup rugby generates. We really hope the fans love it too, so we are looking forward to hearing their views and seeing them wear it as we start into our European campaign.”
