Ian Madigan has been subject of speculation linking him with a lucrative move to the Aviva Premiership with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
Bristol are apparently lining up €500,000 a year offer with Conor O’Shea’s Harlequins also monitoring proceedings.
However, the Irish Times are reporting that Top 14 side Bordeaux-Begles are now ready to make a move. Jake White’s Montpellier are also interested following the confirmation of Francois Trinh Duc’s move to Toulon at the end of the season.
Madigan has previously stated that he would also be open to remaining in Ireland with Munster being touted as possible suitors. Either way it looks like Madigan will not be lining out for Leinster next season.
