EPCR has received a citing complaint against the Castres Olympique replacement hooker, Marc-Antoine Rallier, arising from his club’s Heineken Champions Cup, Round 4 match against Munster Rugby at Stade Pierre Fabre on Saturday, 15 December 2018.
Rallier is alleged to have tackled Munster captain Peter O’Mahony dangerously in the 69th minute of the match in contravention of Law 9.13. Pamela Woodman (Scotland), Chair, Anthony Davies (England) and Leon Lloyd (England) have been appointed as the independent Disciplinary Committee for hearing which will take place in Paris tomorrow (Wednesday, 19 December).
The complaint was made by the match Citing Commissioner, Chris Catling (England).
Law 9.13 – Dangerous tackling
Under World Rugby’s Sanctions for Foul Play, Law 9.13 carries the following sanction entry points – Low end: 2 weeks; Mid-range: 6 weeks; Top end: 10 to 52 weeks
EPCR has also received a citing complaint against the Castres Olympique scrumhalf, Rory Kockott in the same game.
Kockott is alleged to have made contact with the eye and/or eye area of the Munster openside Chris Cloete in the 21st minute of the match in contravention of Law 9.12.
