The Irish Independent has revealed its list of the Top 10 Irish rugby players of 2026, with many of Ireland’s biggest stars recognised following another big season for club and country.
The rankings come after a campaign that has seen Irish players excel across the Six Nations, United Rugby Championship, European competition and the Nations Championship.
Leinster dominate the list with seven players making the top 10, while Ulster have two representatives and Munster captain Tadhg Beirne is the province’s sole inclusion.
Jamison Gibson-Park has been named Ireland’s best player of 2026, edging out captain Caelan Doris for top spot.
Stuart McCloskey completes the podium, while Tadhg Beirne and Dan Sheehan round out the top five.
