Toby Faletau’s move from the Newport Gwent Dragons has been officially confirmed.
Bath have announced the capture of Wales number 8 on their website earlier today.
Faletau will join Bath once his contract at the Newport Gwent Dragons expires next summer. However details of the deal have yet to be confirmed.
Bath’s previous attempt to buy out the remainder of Faletau’s contract were blocked by Warren Gatland and the WRU, leading to speculation that the Tongan born number 8 would sign for another Welsh region.
The news will come as a blow to Wales, as they continue to attempt to secure their high profile players on WRU dual contracts.
