Joe Schmidt must once again work with a huge injury list as he plans Ireland’s trip to South Africa next month.
Last year’s Rugby World Cup was not good to the Irish with a massive injury list playing a huge part of their exit at the hands of Argentina at the quarter final stage.
Joe Schmidt knows that the next twelve games are vital for his side as they fight for a top 8 finish and seeding ahead of the Rugby World Cup draw in May of next year.
As it stands Sean O’Brien, Cian Healy, Mike McCarthy, Peter O’Mahony, Josh Van Der Flier and Tommy Bowe are all set to miss out on the tour to South Africa.
