Sean O’Brien is in line to make his long-awaited return to the Leinster senior side this weekend as they prepare for a crucial round 2 clash with French heavyweights, Montpellier.
Last season’s Challenge Cup winners will be a stern test for Leinster and will be hoping to bounce back from a last gasp loss to Premiership side, Northampton thanks to the boot of Stephen Myler.
Leinster themselves look impressive in their five-try, bonus point win over Castres, but know they face a much harder task this weekend. Having Sean O’Brien at their disposal will no doubt, ease some of them nerves.
O’Brien made a successful return with the Leinster A side over the weekend and while Leinster scrum coach John Fogarty says O’Brien will need to be eased back into the grind of regular rugby, he has fears over putting the ‘Tullow Tank’ in the starting line-up this weekend.
