JJ Hanrahan seems to have already ousted Stephen Myler.
The Saints have been far from impressive this season but former Munster outhalf JJ Hanrahan has become one of their stand out players and looks to have already become the first choice ten with the Aviva Premiership side.
Despite have less gametime under his belt, Hanrahan has ousted Stephen Myler in the stats stakes. Hanrahan is also proving to be more of a threat than his more experienced rival, preferring to carry the ball to the gain line.
Ugo Monye described Hanrahan as more of an attacking threat on BT Sport’s Rugby tonight, with Austin Healey adding that the former Munster player is more direct and unafraid to ‘take the ball into contact’.
Munster fans look away…
