I’m out of here.
Taulupe Faletau has told Bath he will be leaving them at the end of next season with a return to the Dragons on the cards, according to a report today by WalesOnline.
The Welsh number eight left Dragons two years ago, but apparently didn’t want to leave at the time, and only did so as the dual-contract offer on the table by the WRU didn’t match his expectations.
Dragon’s are on a mission under Bernard Jackman to rebuild their squad, and have already managed to secure lure a number of Welsh players back from England, including 2017 Lions tourist Ross Moriarty, Richard Hibbard and Rhodri Williams.
It was hoped Dragons could bring Faletau back in the summer, but have been put off by a £500,000 fee slapped on him by Bath to buy out the final year of his contract.
