Sonny Bill Williams has agreed a deal to move to Toulon next season according to reports.
French publication L’Equipe have revealed that the All Black centre has agreed a deal to move to the three-time European champions next season. Williams has been linked with a host of clubs including Racing 92 and Montpellier in recent weeks, but has apparently agreed a deal with Mourad Boudjellal’s big spenders.
The two-time World Cup winner is currently playing sevens with New Zealand in a bid for Olympic glory this summer in Rio. Should his move to Toulon officially go through, Quade Cooper’s spell at the French club may come to an abrupt end with an eventual backline expected of Giteau, SBW and Nonu at 10, 12, 13. A scary thought.
