The 2026 Guinness Six Nations gets underway on Thursday night with an absolute belter of a fixture in Paris as reigning champions France host Ireland at 8:10pm.
It’s not the first time a championship match has been played on a Thursday, but it is the first time in the Six Nations era.
You have to go all the way back to 1948 for the last time when Ireland played France on a Thursday night, as the men in green won 13-6 on their way to Grand Slam glory.
On Saturday, there are two more massive fixtures to look forward to as Italy host Scotland at 2:10pm, and England host Wales at 4:40pm in Twickenham.
