Not everyone was able to make it to Cardiff the weekend but it seems that TV3 was the next most popular port of call for Irish rugby fans as seen by these staggering statistics.
The match against France shattered their previous viewing record as 72% of all adults watching television tuned in to watch Joe Schmidt’s men beat France with viewing figures peaking at 1.42million.
The match reached a record breaking 1.6 million viewers in total and it also recorded an average of 1.15 million viewers. Overall, 1.69 million tuned in across pre-match, match and post-match analysis of Ireland v France on TV3.
All four quarter-finals will be broadcast by the station this weekend. Prepare for more records to be broken LADS!
