The 2027 Rugby World Cup draw has just taken place in Australia, with Ireland learning their fate for rugby’s showpiece event in two years.
Andy Farrell’s side have drawn their Six Nations rivals Scotland once again in the trickiest of games in their pool.
They have also drawn Uruguay and Portugal.
Tournament hosts Australia have been drawn in the same pool as bitter rivals, New Zealand.
