Robbie Henshaw will miss the next six weeks after suffering a fractured hand in Limerick on Saturday night.
The Ireland star looks set to be absent for this weekend’s trip to Cardiff, the Challenge Cup double-header with Newcastle, the St Stephen’s Day visit of Ulster to the Sportsground and the New Year’s Day clash with Leinster at the RDS.
Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt will be hoping Henshaw has recovered in time to take a full part in the pre-Six Nations camp at Carton House in January.
