Sonny Bill Williams is the most wanted man in rugby.
The New Zealander, who is currently playing sevens for the national side in a bid for Olympic glory has been the subject of huge speculation in the past few months.
We know he will be leaving the sevens scene after Rio 2016, but his destination so far remains to be seen. Williams has been linked with the likes of Toulon, Auckland Blues and former club the Chiefs in recent weeks.
We brought you the news this week that Michael Cheika had revealed that an Aviva Premiership club had joined the hunt for his signature and the same man has now revealed who that club is.
In an interview in the Australian Daily Telegraph, Cheika has inadvertently named Wasps as one the Aviva Premiership club pursuing Williams.
You look at Wasps.
They signed Kurtley, they brought back Danny Cipriani, they’re talking about Leigh Halfpenny, now they’re talking about Sonny Bill Williams, there’s Willie Le Roux.
