Paul O’Connell has retired with Peter O’Mahony, Tommy Bowe and Iain Henderson all ruled out through injury so either way we’re going to be looking at a new look Ireland team come Sunday.
The battle has raged on as to who should start in the centre with the emergence of the likes of Stuart McCloskey and the entire country is pleading with Joe Schmidt to start new boy CJ Stander whether it be at 6 in place of the injured Peter O’Mahony or in place of long-term servant Jamie Heaslip.
Interestingly Irish Independent journalist Rúaidhrí O’Connor was at the Ireland session on Saturday and revealed the side that had been lining out in the session. Could this be Joe Schmidt’s side to take on Wales? Rob Kearney has long been touted to lose his position as has Heaslip and with Sexton’s injury worries and Henshaw playing for Connacht this weekend in a bid to get back to match fitness, this team could be very plausible.

We think however that this is probably just a training team and instead have left our predicted side to take on Wales below. What do you think? Which selection do you think will start if any?
