Munster Rugby have reportedly agreed a deal to bring Connacht’s Ultan Dillane to the province.
The Irish lock has been linked with a move back down south as recent as last week, following a hugely successful breakout season last year that saw him earn his first Ireland call-up and lift the PRO12 with Connacht.
Reports are now surfacing today that indicate a move to Munster is done and dusted. His representatives were said to be exploring the option of a Munster move while also negotiating with Connacht about a new deal, with his contract set to expire in June 2017. It now appears that he has indeed turned down Connacht’s offer in favour of a move back to Munster.
Munster are also set to complete the signing of long-term target Chris Farrell from Grenoble. The Irish centre has been hugely impressive for Bernard Jackman’s Grenoble, with a number of clubs reportedly interested.
