Ireland did their best yesterday to paper over the cracks in a thumping win over the Azzuri at the Aviva Stadium. While many fans argued that regardless of the result, they were hugely disappointed that the likes of Stuart McCloskey were dropped, Ireland put on a seriously impressive showing.
Despite his clear weakness in defence, Munster back Simon Zebo was immense going forward and is beginning to show fans he’s capable of filling in at fullback in the longterm for both Munster and Ireland with some minor improvements.
