Ouch.
Springboks boss Rassie Erasmus is recovering well after he suffered some nasty chemical burns to his body in a horrific accident.
The 51-year-old coach, who has led the Springboks to back to back Rugby World Cup wins glory 2019 and 2023, sustained the injuries a couple of weeks ago in what has been labelled as a “freak accident” by South African Rugby.
Erasmus suffered the chemical burns as a result of coming into contact with a “powerful detergent product.”
And he has now posted images of the incident and be warned – they are quite graphic. We hope he heals well soon.
