Who’s the best number nine in World Rugby right now?

Ireland’s Conor Murray has been in terrific form for club and country in the last few months and he’s got the stats to back it up, making hium the best scrumhalf in world rugby right now.

The Munster man is closely followed by New Zealand’s TJ Perenara who has overtaken his All Black’s teammate Aaron Smith following the November series. Wallaby nine Will Genia comes in at four after an impressive Autumn series with Michael Cheika’s side.

The fifth and final spot on the list goes to England’s Ben Youngs who has stamped his mark as Eddie Jones’ number one scrumhalf. Jones’ side have remained unbeaten since he took over following the Rugby World Cup, with the Leicester star playing a key role.
