The Probable Ireland Team To Take On Italy Is An Exciting One

Experimental.

Ireland play their first Rugby World Cup warm-up game this weekend with the men in green set to host Six Nations rivals Italy at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Joe Schmidt’s side will play four warm-up games in total with Wales (twice) and England still to come. Not only are these games vital preparation for Japan – they also provide a number of players with a chance to impress and book their ticket on the plane over.

That being said it looks like Schmidt is going to give a number of fringe players a chance to strut their stuff on Saturday, with our friends over at RugbyPass getting a sneak peak at the potential line-up for Saturday.

Tommy O’Donnell looks set for a long awaited return in green, while uncapped Munster teammate Jean Kleyn is in line to make his debut. There’s also an interesting centre partnership in Garry Ringrose and Chris Farrell.

Have a look below and let us know what you think. Would you be happy with this team?
