Many of Ireland’s past and present rugby stars have turned out in force today to pay respects to the late Anthony Foley.
Foley will lie in repose at St Flannan’s Church, Killaloe, from 1pm to 8.30pm today.
The funeral mass for Anthony ‘Axel’ Foley will take place at 12 noon on Friday at St Flannan’s Church with the church reserved for family and friends only. Anthony will make his final journey to Relig Núa Cemetery, Killaloe, where he will be laid to rest. Family flowers only.
Ireland head coach and captain, Joe Schmidt and Rory Best were among the first to arrive this afternoon. Connacht & Leinster head coaches Leo Cullen and Pat Lam are also in attendance today.
Lam was welcomed by lifelong friend of Foley and former Ireland and Munster star, Keith Wood.
