Leinster head into this weekend’s Champions Cup game against Toulon at the Stade Felix Mayol knowing that anything less than a win ends any bit of hope that remains of them qualifying for the knockout stages.
A heavy defeat to Wasps at home and a narrow defeat to Bath away have all but ended their European campaign before Christmas.
The massive task at hand got even bigger this morning with confirmation that two-time world champion Ma’a Nonu has been included in the three-in-a-row winners’ squad.
The recently retired All Black replaces the injured Theo Belan, meaning the French club’s centre partnership will most likely look like this on Sunday.
