Jeans stuck to your knee kinda stuff.
We’ve all got them, the dreaded knee scrape. Wasps gave Leinster a right battering a couple of weeks back in the Champions Cup inflicting a 51-10 defeat, Leinster’s biggest defeat in the history of European competition.
Jimmy Gopperth however inflicted a bit of a battering on his knee himself with a dreaded knee shred. Anyone that has experience this is the past knows it’s one of the most irritating injuries you will ever get. You get to look forward to weeks of peeling your jeans off your leg.
Gopperth posted the image after tweeting a classy message to former teammate Luke Fitzgerald following his injury. Sounds like the other two boys may have picked up a few scrapes themselves.
