Former All Black Chris Masoe broke down in tears as he hugged Jerry Collins’ daughter after the French Top 14 final in Barcelona.
Masoe, who played alongside Collins for the All Blacks, Hurricanes and Lions, was seen on French TV holding 2-year-old Ayla Collins on the sidelines after his club Racing Metro defeated Toulon 29-21.
Collins and his partner, Alana Madill died in a car crash in the South of France last year.
