Pic: Brian O’Driscoll Shares Nasty Image Of Injury He Suffered The Last Time He Played Wales

Brian O’Driscoll’s decided to post a throwback-Thursday picture today ahead of Ireland’s game against Wales and it’s a particularly painful one.

O’Driscoll shared an image of the back injury he suffered after he was the victim of a huge hit from Welsh centre Scott Williams.

BOD despite this, dusted himself down and helped Ireland to a 26-3 success in Dublin which ultimately led to Ireland being crowned champions in Paris in his fairytale send-off. Here is a video of the tackle:

It’s also worth noting that Williams is the player who wen’t off injured as a result of the tackle (and missed the rest of the Six Nations) and it reminds us of a certain throwback meme we posted ourselves at the time.
