Adam Mangan, a talented GAA and rugby player marked as one for the future in both sports in his native Offaly, was tragically killed in a farm accident a couple of months ago.
He was a member of Tullamore Rugby club and had made appearances for Leinster Rugby.
The teenager’s passing has devastated everyone in his local community but now a local artist is trying to help the family cope with their loss with a wonderful tribute to the youngster.
Artist Orla Brennan was asked by a friend of the Mangan family to produce a portrait as a present to his parents and she has delivered a beautiful tribute to the late teenager.
