Ireland shocked the rugby world on Saturday afternoon, with a record 42-21 win over England in Twickenham, and it’s safe to say – the Irish fans are loving it.
Having been heavily beaten by France in the opening round, and not performed to the level expected against Italy, Ireland rocked up to Twickenham with a point to prove – to the fans, to the media, and to themselves.
It was a joyous day for the men in green, and one that will live long in the memory, especially with this absolutely epic photo of the coaches from Sportsfile, backroom team and players celebrating on the day.
The best part is the fact that Princess of Wales Kate Middleton can be seen in the background, but unfortunately, she didn’t share the same enthusiasm as the Irish coaches!
