Outspoken Writer Stephen Jones Makes Absolutely Ludicrous Leinster/Saracens Claim

Madness.

Outspoken Welsh writer Stephen Jones has come out with some pretty ludicrous and bizarre statements over the years – and this one is right up there.

Following Leinster and Saracens’ comprehensive domestic title wins over the weekend, a fan on Twitter noted it would be fantastic to see the two sides meet now, given both of them are have been in incredible form.

Jones however, doesn’t think it would be much of a contest. According to the Welshman – Sarries would beat Leinster by AT LEAST 12 points, maybe even more. Clearly his memory isn’t working too well, because the two sides did meet pretty recently, in the quarter final stages of the Champions Cup. A game that Leinster won 30-19.

Over the years Jones hasn’t been too kind to the Irish, and seems to have a bit of a problem with the nation as a whole. Maybe that explains it? He was even called out on Twitter by former Ireland flanker Neil Best are making the claim and guess what? Best got blocked.

Although you don’t have to do a lot on Twitter to get blocked by Jones. Just disagree with him. That should do it.
