Nigel Owens is one of the world’s very best.
The former World Referee of the Year has taken charge of some of the biggest matches the game has to offer including multiple domestic finals, European finals and even a Rugby World Cup final back in 2015.
As a result he’s had to deal with a hell of a lot of players over the years, some good, some bad, some challenging!
Owens did a brilliant Q&A for WalesOnline not too long ago, with the public putting some excellent questions to him. One being who’s the most challenging player he has ever refereed, to which Owens responded.
There have been quite a few. Austin Healey was definitely one but a penalty and 10 yards against him soon got the message across!
Brilliant! It had to be him!
