Munster have reportedly boosted their forward options today with the signing of Uruguayan international prop, Mario Sagario.
Sagario played in all four of Uruguay’s World Cup games and the 29 year old comes with vast experience having represented his country 51 times.
The tighthead prop had been on trial with the provincial side and obviously impressed enough to earn a four month deal, with an option to extend.
The news will be welcomed by Munster fans who have just lost Stephen Archer to a neck injury, and with BJ Botha’s contract due to end in December, Sagario will be hoping he does enough to earn a long term deal.
The prop has previously lined out for US Dax and RC Massy in the Pro d2, the league below the French Top 14.
