What a coup.
Munster are set to confirm former Australia and Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham as their new backs coach, according to a report in the Irish Independent.
Larkham met with Munster officials last month and was in Limerick yesterday to finalise a deal that will see him replace Felix Jones at the southern province.
Barring any complications a deal should be confirmed shortly with Graham Rowntree already confirmed as Munster’s new forwards coach in place of Jerry Flannery.
Larkham still works for Rugby Australia but is no longer with the Wallabies so should be available to start in time for pre-season. Two big names on the way to Munster. Will they prove to be the missing pieces of the puzzle?
