Munster have been rocked with a number of key injuries ahead of their crucial URC clash with Connacht at the Dexcom this weekend.
The southern province secured a huge win over Ulster before the European break, but have paid a heavy cost with two games to go in the regular season.
They currently sit fifth in the table with Connacht away and Lions at home left to play, and while they are just two points behind fourth-placed Leinster and a potential home quarter-final, they are just four points ahead of 8th-placed Ulster.
A top-eight finish is a must for the province, but they will take on Connacht without the services of club captain Tadhg Beirne (knee), Tom Farrell (shoulder), Oli Jager (head), Jean Kleyn (biceps) and Calvin Nash (hamstring).
Head coach Clayton McMillan has suggested some of those could be “season-enders” for the province, but there is some good news on the injury front.
Jack Crowley is available this weekend after he was a late withdrawal ahead of that bonus-point win over Ulster.
