Done deal.
Munster hooker Duncan Casey has completed a move to French PRO D2 side Grenoble as a medical joker.
As reported last week, Casey joins recently relegated Grenoble as cover for the injured Arnaud Heguy, who faces six months out following shoulder surgery.
Grenoble currently sit fourth in Pro D2 and face a trip to Vannes this weekend. Former Ireland hooker Bernard Jackman was in charge of the French side in the Top 14 last year, and they will be hoping they can bounce straight back up.
Casey played 46 times for his home province, but suffered with a number of injuries in recent seasons and fell down the pecking order. The deal with Grenoble is only until the end of the season, but it’s believed there is scope to extend it should thing work out.
